Indepth Sign Design has won the contract to provide and install external and internal signs including directional and safety signs for Suffolk Housing’s £5 million flagship development at Anton House, formerly known as St Andrews House, in Ipswich. Suffolk Housing is a not-for-profit organisation which provides affordable housing across East Anglia and has over 2,500 homes.
Their new site is located on Grimwade Street in the heart of the town. This project will transform a derelict office into a residential building, providing affordable housing where it is most needed. As part of the Anton House community, 55 apartments are being created over four floors, including three wheelchair-accessible flats. Our role is to provide the signs needed for waymarking and for Health and Safety. We’re delighted to have been chosen as suppliers to Suffolk Housing, especially because of the organisation’s ethical stance.
We’re providing over 60 bespoke signs, from external signage with the building name and the housing association’s logo to a raft of specific internal signs. These include directional signs in clear Perspex, reverse printed and backed in white, for the flats and services like the lift, bins and cycle store. Reflective external signs in gloss laminate aluminium composite will ensure that safety signage is taken care of too.
