Protecting the environment is something that’s too important to ignore. Like any organisation involved in manufacturing and supply, being environmentally friendly has its challenges. Of course being in the sign industry it has more challenges than most. Here are some of the steps we take at Indepth Sign Design to ensure we operate a sustainable business.
Signs that last
The most important thing we do is to supply signs that are built to last. We produce high quality, sustainable, external and internal signs that require low or no maintenance. This cuts down or eliminates the replacement cycle and is good for the environment.
Made with care
Very recently, Indepth Sign Design, invested a six-figure sum to boost our technological capability with the Arizona 6100 Series. This UV flatbed printer provides photo quality output, yet uses significantly less ink – up to 50% less – than fixed droplet, six-colour printers.
Where possible we recommend the use of LED lighting for shop signs, backlit displays, site branding and architectural signage due to the energy savings LED can provide. LEDs last longer, they use 80% less power than neon and unlike neon or fluorescent lights, LEDs don’t have toxic gases like mercury or argon.
From a green-aware business
When you come to Indepth Sign Design we’d hope that you just see a well run business. But behind the scenes we’re making decisions to ensure that we’re managing our impact on the environment. Whenever sensible to do so, projects are run on a streamlined, paper-free basis including proposals, plans, artwork and correspondence. And when the signs are ready we work hard to ensure delivery routes are planned efficiently, to reduce our carbon footprint.
